Amenity Guidelines
The
Farm
The neighborhood farm at Aberdeen is ran by Aberdeen Farms, not the HOA. While the farm site is an amenity for the residents of Aberdeen, it is also a fully-fledged operational farm. This means that all residents and guests need to follow the farm’s guidelines, so that all people, animals, and produce can stay safe and healthy. Please be sure to follow these guidelines at all times:
Residents access Aberdeen Farms at their own risk.
Guests must be accompanied by an Aberdeen resident.
Residents under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Farm animals may not be fed unless food has been provided by the farm for such purpose.
Residents may not alter or harvest any farm plants/crops without express permission by the farm staff or within the context of an event that allows for such activity.
Residents may not take or move any products or produce without paying for them.
The Lakes
The lakes at Aberdeen are an integral part of the character of the community and the management of storm water in the community. Please take care of these areas and ensure to abide by the following guidelines:
No structure of any kind shall be placed in the ponds or on the pond property without the prior written approval of the ACC.
No boating, swimming, diving, skiing, or ice skating shall be permitted in or on the ponds except as expressly permitted by the HOA.
No person(s) should enter the property of other residents to walk by or access the ponds.
The Trails
The trails at Aberdeen are an exceptional space that allow residents to become fully enraptured by nature and to escape the daily stresses of every day life. As such, it is important that we all be respectful to the space and to our neighbors while we walk the trails. The following guidelines are not meant to be all-encompassing, rather they are a good starting place to ensure all residents are able to enjoy the trails peacefully:
Do not drive motorized (or non-motorized) vehicles on the trails.
Pick up after yourself, your guests and your pets. Do not leave any trash or debris.
Do not set up a camping site (no camping permitted)
Do not venture off of the trails, you will likely end up trespassing on another’s property and/or will increase your risk of injury.
